WPML bug in Dynamic Widgets 1.4.1

Thanks to a report from a Dynamic Widgets user who also uses WPML, a bug has been fixed in version 1.4.1.1.

When you use Dynamic Widgets in combination with WPML, you’ll receive the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method dynWid::getDWOpts() in /wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/mods/wpml_module.php on line 13

Just upgrade to version 1.4.1.1 and you’re good to go. My apologies for the inconvience.

UPDATE: It seems I must have had a very bad day when I was working on or testing out the WPML module. Thanks to a comment made by Jack Beerens another bug has been found in the WPML module. All fixed now in version 1.4.1.2.

    Hi Jacco,
    I must come back on my last post.
    Now I do have all he options, but when I check language WPML, I cannot choose between the languages. In the earlier addapted widgets I see also a green v-mark for okay I think. But that mark is not in the widgets I’d like to addapt.

      I must have had a very bad day when I was working on the WPML module. There was another bug in which has been fixed also now in the development version 1.4.1.2

    I love your plugin, but unfortunately it’s stopped working on my site. I haven’t upgraded WP to 3.2 yet, as I’m in the middle of updating pages and I’ll need to do some tests with my existing plugins.

    For whatever reason, the latest Dynamic Widgets–including 1.4.1.2–does not allow me to configure any of the widgets. When I click the “edit” button, the screen cuts off after the template box, and I receive the following error message:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_users() in /home/content/k/e/s/kestanley/html/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/mods/single_module.php on line 12

    Can you help me? Or conversely, can I have access to an older version of the plugin?

      Same story as my previous reply to ukmaceman apllies I guess. You can downgrade to a lower version (1.4.0). I’ll have it fixed today.

    Hi, Jacco, and thanks–the latest version made improvement–clicking on “edit” now gets us all the way to the “Pages” box–but still generated a fatal error at the bottom of the page (beyond which I can’t scroll):

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_users() in /home/content/k/e/s/kestanley/html/wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/mods/author_module.php on line 11

      Ah yes, of course. There is also an author list down there. Sorry about that. Here is version 1.4.1.4.
